Mscomctl2.dtpicker.2 windows 7

DTPicker of control Asked 8 years, 7 months ago. Active 7 years, 5 months ago. Viewed 17k times. Everything is successful except for an error that occurs in finding this "MSComCtl2 DLL" it creates a log file with the name of each form that uses a date-time picker. The log file states: MSComCtl2. What should I try next? Improve this question. You seem to have copied the shortened text of the link and not the actual URL, so it's naturally broken.

Anyway, try installing this right-click and run it as admin and see if it helps. Add a comment. We use a calendar control as part of several MS Access databases. We've tried running as administrator, both from a shortcut and from a command prompt. We've also tried logging into the machine as a local admin - none of these works.

The error when failing is 0xC. I've read that Microsoft is possibly fazing out support for VB6 controls in the 64 bit version of Windows 7 but have heard nothing definite. If there is an alternative to using this control that would still work with Access and run under Windows 7, I'm willing to give that a try. Office is not out yet so there must be something that will work in the interim.

Thank you. Wednesday, September 16, PM. Hi OfficeBoy48, We have just had the same problem and have now worked out how to do it. Wednesday, December 16, AM. Hi, I have exactly the same problem and followed your instructions, OfficeBoy Yet the same error message appear, and the module doesn't register.

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I had the fix before I read your posts, but I really appreciate the way you guys are always willing to help. Without your help…I would still be lost! I am using MS Office The Microsoft link does not seem be helping me.

Venkat, I do not have a link, and this is I am sure copyright software owned by MS. I am not authorized by them to distribute copies. There are many sources… TL. Phil: Appreciate you quick reply and the information. I have found a workaround by using the calendar funtionality. I would still need that date picker which was available freely somewhere for downloading which I am not able to locate unfortunately.

Would be nice if you could let me know whenever you come acorss this in a distributable form. Thank you once again. Regards, Venkat. From: avramreddy via access-l [mailto:access-l Groups. I am still having a problem with MSComCtl2. It worked just fine in Access I have looked at every conceivable post on this subject, and while I have found many suggestions, none have helped. It also seems that I am not alone in this. Many posts ended without a solution.

The most common reason for this error is that one of the fieldnames in your table or query is also [now] a reserved word. Sign in to vote. The Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control is missing in my excell developer insert controls, more controls buttom.

Wednesday, August 7, PM. I hope this helps! Saturday, August 10, PM. Thanks in advance to anyone who has some direction for me on this one. Tuesday, November 19, PM. It worked. Tuesday, January 7, AM. Monday, November 24, PM.
